Viio integrates to your Intercom application allowing you to manage your Intercom account efficiently. With the information from the integration you will have clarity and perspective on Intercom users and their activity, licences you pay for vs licences you need, which makes app management transparent and straightforward.
Integration prerequisites
Create an app in your Intercom Developer Hub
Generate API token
Installation Steps
In the Developer Hub, click New app
Name your app and select "Internal Integration"
Click Create App
Once you create an app, in the Authentication section you can find your Access Token. Please copy it to use in Viio integration.
Go to Viio Integration Center, click on Intercom App
Paste your Access token in Authorization section.
Save your integration with a recognisable name - that's it!
Notes on permissions
Since you provide us with the Access token, we will have the same permissions as the app you created does. However, we only read limited amount of the information that can be restricted to the following permissions:
Read admins
we need this permission to list users of your Intercom app
Read admin activity logs
we need this permission to understand usage patterns
