Viio integrates to your Datadog account allowing you to manage it efficiently. With the information from the integration you will have clarity and perspective on Datadog users and their activity, licences you pay for vs licences you need, which makes app management transparent and straightforward.
Integration prerequisites
User need to have needed permissions in Datadog to be able to generate API and Application keys that will allow you to successfully add Datadog integration.
We require API and Application keys in order to be able to read user information on your Datadog account
Installation Steps
Generate API key in your Datadog account here.
Navigate to Organization settings, then click the API keys tab
Click the New Key
Enter a name for your key
Click Create API key
Create Application Key in your Datadog Account here.
Navigate to Organization Settings, then click the Application Keys tab
Click the New Key
Enter a name for your key
Click Create Application key
Go to Viio Integrations center and click on the Datadog app in order to connect.
Provide your
API KeyandApplication Keyin Viio.io integration center
Validate your authorisation data and proceed with installation steps on the screen.
Notes on permissions
Since you generate an API Key for us, Viio will have the same permissions as the user generating it does. However, we only perform a limited amount of operations with your data, such as:
