Integrations bring most license plans into Viio automatically. For everything else, such as a reseller deal, an enterprise agreement or a tool without an API, you can create the plan yourself. Manual plans appear in the Licenses table next to your integrated plans, with the price and license count you set.
Where to create a plan
Licenses page: click Create plan and choose what the plan is for. The list includes apps, product families and vendors (marked Vendor). Type to search.
An application or product family page: Create plan on the Licenses tab creates a plan for that app or product family.
A vendor page: choose one of the vendor's products, or the vendor itself for a plan that covers the whole vendor.
Create the plan
Choose a Pricing model (see the table below).
Enter a Plan Name (required, up to 200 characters) and, if you like, a Description.
Fill in the License details: the price, the Currency, the License period (Per month or Per year) and the license count.
Click Create. The plan appears in the table straight away.

How the license count is calculated
For Per License, Bulk, Stair Step and Volume plans, choose a Calculation method:
Manual: you enter the Count of licenses. Plans created for a vendor always use Manual.
Automatic: Viio counts the licenses as the number of Active Users for the app. Use this to get an estimate of the number of licenses, if you don't know the actual number.
Edit a plan
Click the plan's name in the Licenses table, or open its menu (⋮) and choose Edit. In the panel you can:
Rename the plan.
Change Total licenses. Assigned and unassigned licenses are shown for reference.
Under Contracts, click Assign to contract to link the plan to a contract for the same app or vendor, or choose Create contract to start a new one. Linking a plan to a contract adds it to the contract's costs and gives the plan its renewal date.
Add Notes for your team.
Click Save to keep your changes. Read more in Contracts.
Remove a plan
Open the plan's menu (⋮), choose Remove, and confirm. This permanently removes the plan and its pricing. Only manual plans can be removed; plans from an integration stay in sync with it.
FAQ
How is a manual plan different from an integrated plan?
Integrated plans come from an integration and update on their own. Fields the integration provides are marked "From integration – not editable". Manual plans are yours to edit and remove.
Why can't I choose Automatic?
The plan was created for a vendor rather than a single app, so Viio has no usage data to count from. Enter the count of licenses yourself.
Do I need a contract for a manual plan?
No. A plan works on its own, but linking it to a contract gives it a renewal date and adds it to that contract's totals.
